How The Backpack Project Works

The idea of filling backpacks with school supplies is not a new one. We borrowed the idea from others who are doing a great job helping kids.

We wanted to do the same and know that 100% of our contributions went to the kids. It is a charitable act you can see, touch and feel.

Our goal is to put together as many backpacks as we can. Through volume purchasing we can buy these supplies quite inexpensively. All the labor to acquire the materials, insert them into backpacks and distribution will be volunteer. Not a single penny will be spent for anything but supplies for the kids.

And the rewards can be monumental.

It may make school more interesting to some kids. It may encourage kids to give a little extra effort. We hope that many kids will pursue an education more vigorously with this small helping hand that is so relatively easy for us to provide.
