What One Dollar Buys

When we started this project as a couple of buddies with no recent experience in buying school supplies, we were amazed at how much you can buy for a dollar. Major discount chains offer school supplies at exceptional discounts (if not loss-leaders) and you can get a lot for a dollar. As we expand the group we can also take advantage of volume purchasing for even greater savings. Here are examples of what a dollar buys.

Ten (10) Spiral Notebooks

These 8 1/2" x 11" notebooks are a core item for all school kids.

Forty-Eight (48) Pencils

Many needy kids are forced to share pencils

Forty (40) Ink Pens

Like pencils, there is a shortage of pens in underprivileged schools.

Five (5) Boxes Of Crayons

Each box of 24 nontoxic crayons can brighten a child's world.

Five (5) Bottles Of Elmer's Glue

Every school kid needs glue to participate in art projects.

Every dollar counts

Join us in providing a helping hand to kids who can't afford this stuff. It will make a difference.
